your provider of hair prosthesis, it is very important that we begin to
formulate a plan of action. While your medical team is attending to your health
needs, we will be here to help you feel good about yourself. We understand the
emotional trauma a person suffers from surgery and the side-effects of
radiation, chemotherapy, and Alopecia.
We understand that maintaining your self-confidence and positive self image is
important to you. When you are experiencing hair loss, Turning Point provides
you a place to shop for hair prostheses.
We carry a large in-store inventory of wigs, hats, and turbans. We encourage you
to schedule your first personal consultation prior to your hair loss. Our goal
is to help you feel as natural as possible when you begin medical treatments.
Usually, a selection can be made, and you can wear your comfortable stylish
selection home the same day.
Maternity
In our new and improved maternity area, you will find a large selection of
maternity girdles, back supports, nursing bras, breast pumps, and other
personal, but necessary items you'll need during and after your pregnancy.
Plus Size Matters
Finding a proper fitting plus size bra can be difficult. We carry a large
variety of sizes to choose from and provide custom fittings at your request. To
ensure quality service please schedule an appointment for your fitting.
Breast Prosthesis
If you have had breast surgery, you'll be pleased to know you have many choices
for breast forms, bras and swimwear. You can choose from products that are
comfortable, feminine and stylish. These products resemble your own breast
shape, size and movement. Your fitting will be done in a private room, designed
to make you comfortable s possible. It is also important to remember that the
mastectomy bra must be properly fitted. Our certified prostheses fitters are
ready to help you make appropriate selections. Remember, we also offer special
apparel designed for you immediately after surgery. Our certified fitters are
also available for hospital visits.
